Note to self: don't mess with the Moline Police Department on Facebook.

On Saturday, October 28, the Moline Police Department participated in the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., people were able to drop off unused prescription drugs, no questions asked, at the Moline and East Moline police departments.

It appears to have been a successful event, as the Moline Police Department shared some of their progress on Facebook.

Of course, people couldn't resist joking about the whole scenario. The general punch line was about the irony of them showing off all the drugs in their possession. Most were vague and harmless – and then Dylan came in.

He commented "Lemme slide on all of them I'm Tryna get ots and get my paper up #keepdrugsinourstreets" And the Police Department had the perfect response.

Andrew went on to ask if the "place" has utilities, to which the MPD said "Yes of course, it’s like a hotel except you can’t leave. Oh and there is no pool and there is no continental breakfast with one of those cool waffle makers."

So basically, not only are the Moline Police keeping our streets safer, they're also expert trolls.
