It's called "mukbang" (literally translated as "eating broadcast") and it's all the rage in South Korea.
In fact, there's a 14-year-old named B.J. Patoo who makes up to $1,500 PER NIGHT by binge eating in front of his computer. Here's a video.
Some people say it helps satisfy their cravings WITHOUT eating...but when's the last time you watched Food Network and didn't get hungry? Stuff like this is why my dad hates the Internet.
