Maybe you're tired, maybe you don't feel like cooking, or maybe you're still having nightmares about that one time you attempted to deep fry a turkey and nearly burnt your house down...Whatever the reason may be, it's okay to eat Thanksgiving out this year.

There are plenty of Quad Cities area restaurants open for the holiday, and you still have time to make a last minute reservation. We already told you that Cracker Barrel is a top spot for turkey day, but there are other options as well.

Visit Quad Cities has a full list of places open on Thanksgiving, but here are a few of our favorites:

- Thunder Bay Grille has a Thanksgiving buffet for $21.99 for ages 11 and up, $10.99 ages 5-10, and free for kids under 4. Food includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, carved roast beef, ham, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, and more. Call 563-386-2722 to make your reservation.

Granite City Davenport is doing a three course Thanksgiving feast, which includes both traditional and modern fixings, like slow roasted turkey with cranberry chutney and gravy. $24.95 a person. Reservations can be made at 563-344-9700.

-Bix Bistro at Hotel Blackhawk is promising a 'feast to remember' this Thanksgiving, with seatings at 12, 2, and 4 PM. Food includes mixed green salad, maple sweet potato casserole, dried cherry risotto, roast sirloin, oven browned turkey with gravy, and mac and cheese. Prices are $29.95 per person for adults, $14.95 for kids 8-12, kids 7 and under are free. Call 563-484-5900 for reservations.
