Today I was scrolling through Twitter, and a post from my college roommate caught my eye. It was just two sentences: "I joined a skeeball league. That is all."

I obviously had to follow up because she's not usually the athletic type, even for a game like skeeball. To make it even funnier, she informed me that the league she joined is a singles league; now I'm just waiting to see a modern-day skeeball rom-com based on this.

But it got me thinking – a skeeball league actually sounds pretty awesome. The Quad Cities could use one of those. Well, as it turns out, we have one! And it's all thanks to Analog Arcade Bar.

They offer league nights twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. It started up earlier this month, with teams of three competing. You can sign up by emailing analogarcadebar@gmail.com.

Anyone out there want to be on my team?
