What started as an easy gesture of kindness during a lunch rush turned into a days long streak of kindness.

A Dairy Queen in Brainerd, Minnesota reported a "pay it forward" chain that started at lunch time December 3rd. By the end of the first day, 280 cars participated by the close of business.

December 4th started with $10 from the night before, and it just continued from there. Over 500 cars went through the drive-thru, each paying it forward the whole day. The streak continued through December 5th.

"It makes people feel good. Our whole crew was pumped about it, let's keep it going, our fans, we had people come here just because they heard about it and wanted to be a part of it,” store assistant manager Sandra Quam told WCCO.
