Andi Ahne is a radio personality with over 12 years of on-air experience and a voice that feels like a friend riding shotgun on your drive. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Media from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and started her career early, hosting a night show on CIL-FM while still in college. Radio stuck immediately and never really let go. Her career has taken her through both radio and television. After relocating to Bismarck, North Dakota, Andi spent over a year on-air at a Top 40 station with iHeartMedia before jumping into television news as a reporter at KX News, a CBS affiliate. That chapter sharpened her storytelling skills and reinforced how much she loves connecting with people. Eventually, she found her way back to radio, where she belongs, and now works at Townsquare Media where she’s been on-air since March 2022. Andi’s style is conversational, honest, and a little unfiltered. She’s known for saying what pops into her head, laughing at herself, and making listeners feel seen and included. She believes radio is powerful because it builds community, offers companionship, and turns everyday moments into shared ones. Music is a huge part of that, and she loves being immersed in it daily. Outside the studio, Andi is just as active. She loves boating, traveling whenever she can, going to the gym, practicing yoga, playing pickleball, taking long walks in nature, and exploring new places to eat. She’s a proud cat mom with serious separation anxiety, a coffee addict with an impressive mug collection, a Swiftie, a holiday enthusiast, and a self-proclaimed clean freak. She also has tattoos, regrets only two of them, and was accidentally left out of her school yearbook twice, which may explain her lifelong desire to be heard. Andi is deeply connected to her community. She’s a member of Bismarck Boss Babes, volunteers as a mentor for BIO Girls, and participates in a radio mentorship program with the Alliance for Women in Media. Whether she’s on-air, out in the community, or planning her next trip, Andi brings energy, authenticity, and heart to everything she does. At the end of the day, the most important thing to know about Andi is this: radio is her truest passion, and she loves using it to connect, uplift, and entertain the community she calls home.
