The Iowa Hawkeyes play Maryland tonight in what at this point is their biggest game of the year. They are ranked no. 3 in the AP poll and have already swept both Purdue and Michigan State. The Hawkeye's appear to be the real deal and this is the first time in history that the football team, wrestling squad and the basketball have been ranked in the Top 3 in the same year.

With all the extra attention given to the team this year here are the Top 5 basketball phrases you can use to sound like an expert.

All Day
If a player can consistently make a shot, it's said that he can make it "all day". If your favorite player hits several shots in a row you can yell out "All Day Baby"

Break Ankles
When a player makes a move that causes the defender to stumble or fall, the defender has had his "ankles broken". If a Hawkeye makes a killer cross legged dribble and the defender falls down trying to keep up, you can drop this term like you work for ESPN.

Clean the Glass
When a rebounder swipes the ball off of the glass backboard, he is a "Windex man" who is "cleaning the glass".

Doing the Dirty Work
Hustling, rebounding and getting back on defence on a fast break are all elements of "doing the dirty work". After a great defensive stop by the Hawkeye's you can say "They are doing the dirty work today"

Go to the Hole
To drive to the basket. When Jarrod Uthoff has the ball he'll probably shoot the jumper but if Peter Joc has the ball you can stand up and yell "Drive to the Hole" as he works through three Maryland defenders on his way to a layup.
