Did You Know The Quad Cities Has a Free Ice Skating Rink?

This is so cool. I had no idea there was a place for families to skate for free right here in the QCA.

Frozen Landing Family Ice Rink in Bettendorf has totally free admission-all you have to pay for is skate rental, which costs a mere $2.

Hockey skates are permitted on the ice, but the game itself is not allowed.

Here's the current schedule for the rink:
Monday thru Thursday, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Friday, 3:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, Noon - 6:00 p.m.
Open at 10:00 a.m. on holidays and school out days.
These hours may change depending on the weather.

The rink will not be open if raining, if temperatures are above 50 degrees, 5 degrees or below, or if the wind chill is -15 degrees.
