It's that beautiful time of year again and here are the best times to see it.

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is looking at all the beautiful colors. Whether on a hike going through it, on a drive seeing it, or trying a new craft with my girls, the fall foliage is definitely one of the things I enjoy most about this season.

I don't like missing it when it's at it's peak, either. I am looking forward to the perfect fall days where the sun is shining, the boots and jeans are on, there's a crispness in the air that makes you grab a sweater and scarf, but not so cold you need a winter coat, and of course there are all the outdoor activities.

According to the Weather.com map, the Quad Cities and surrounding areas are expected to peak and burst with fall colors mid-October this year. I had to check, because I am already starting to see the tops of trees starting to change along the river.
