Free Food Giveaways in Moline and Clinton This Weekend

There will be free food giveaways in Moline and Clinton this weekend.

The Islamic Center of the Quad Cities and the Clinton Islamic Center will give out boxes of fresh food. In Clinton the giveaway will be held Saturday, January 9 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until supplies last at the MercyOne North Health Plaza at 915 13th Avenue North in Clinton. Use the 13th Avenue North entrance, next to Kelly Medical.

Both food distributions are drive-thru events.

The Islamic Center of the Quad Cities will distribute food on Sunday, January 10 at 6005 34th Avenue in Moline from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

All families who are in need are encouraged to participate.

The Clinton center will accept food donations too. You can donate any dry food items for the distribution and bring those items to the site at 12 p.m. on Saturday so volunteers can bag the items.
