Quad Cities Comedy Fest 2023

Quad Cities Comedy Fest is coming to the Adler Theatre on Friday, June 23rd, and featured four incredible comics guaranteeing to bring all of the laughs.

The night will star DC Young Fly, an Internet personality, comedian, actor, host, rapper and singer-songwriter best known for his “roasting sessions” videos on Instagram and Vine. DC Young Fly has had the distinction of being named one of Variety’s 2019 Ten Comics to watch.

DC’s career originated by creating hilarious videos and roasts on Vine, which he has translated into the successful brand that he is today. Currently one of the most sought-after veteran cast members of Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out, DC has been an anchor in the growth of the popular podcast, 85 South. DC has also hosted back- to-back years for BET’s Annual Hip Hop Awards, alongside his podcast co-hosts, Karlous Miller and Chico Bean.

Comedian Arvin Mitchell will be featured that night, too. As a standup comic, Arvin has performed across the world and developed a deep love for people and culture. Arvin, former co-host of BET’s Club Comic View, has been featured on Kevin Hart’s One Mic Stand and nominated as one of NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity Top comics.

Performing that night will be comedian Courtney McGriff. With over 15 years in standup comedy and over 9 television appearances, McGriff is starring in his self-produced film Cheaper 2 Keep Her, and is a headliner act at various mainstream comedy clubs and Theaters, across the country.

The fourth comedian on stage that night will be Fab Monroe. Chicago-born & Harvey-bred, Fab has been seen & heard on WGCI’s Morning Show w/Leon Rogers, and is a fresh new comedian that captivates audiences with her raw and edgy humor. Fab continues to grace stages, all over the United States.

DJ Captain will be keeping the party going throughout the night. He has had the honor of DJ’ing on some of the top sold-out Comedy and R & B tours, such as Mike Epps, Katt Williams, and more. DJ Captain continues to hone his DJ and Event Promotor experience to continue to bring comedy and music - based entertainment events to cities throughout the country.
