Here’s Why Taylor Swift WON’T Be Doing The Super Bowl Halftime Show…
...and it's got nothing to do with football.
It would have been tough to follow up Bruno Mars & Katy Perry as Super Bowl performers, but Taylor Swift probably could have pulled it off. But it appears that we'll never know.
There were plenty of rumors that T-Swizzle was finalizing a deal to perform at Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium this February, but now Taylor's peeps say it's not happening. There's a conflict of interest because Pepsi sponsors the NFL's halftime show and it conflicts with Taylor's endorsement deal with Diet Coke.
This takes the Cola Wars to a whole new level!
If things officially fall through with Taylor, Britney Spears could wind up with the gig.
