The election is rapidly approaching, but if you would rather avoid the long lines and hassle of voting on November 8th, you now have the option of voting early. Starting today, voters in both Illinois and Iowa can cast their ballots at early voting centers around the area.

In Scott County, you can vote at the Administrative Center at the Scott County Auditor's Office starting today from 8 AM- 4:30. It's a great option for anyone who works downtown and has time on their lunch hour. Starting Monday, October 17, you can vote early at the Bettendorf, Eastern Ave, Fairmount St and Eldridge locations, along with the Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose. The libraries have Saturday hours, making it even easier. Check out the full schedule here.

On the Illinois side, early voting is available at the Rock Island County Clerk Office starting today from 8AM-4:30, making it an easy option for those who work in downtown Rock Island. The Milan Municipal Building, Moline Library, Western Illinois University, and Silvis City Council Chambers will start early voting on October 24. The County Clerk's Office will have weekend voting available towards the end of October and beginning of November, including Sundays. Check out the schedule here.
