Ice Cream Recalled for Listeria

One of our favorite comfort foods is being recalled. Listeria is the concerned contaminate, as it has been several others times in the big food industry in recent months.

Listeria can be most harmful to children, elderly and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms can be diarrhea, bad stomach cramps, headache and high fever.

According to WQAD.com,

The ice cream, made by Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company, Inc. out of Madison, Wisconsin, was sold in 16 states including Iowa and Illinois.  The expanded recall was issued on November 10, 2016.
