Is Spring Finally Here?

Our weather was a little crazy this week. We started out warm and sunny, and within a couple days it was snowy and cold again. This morning's WQAD weather forecast says we can expect those warmer temperatures again next week, but what about the long term? Does that mean we can finally break out the spring dresses and t-shirts?

It's a definite possibility that spring is here a little early! According to the National Weather Service, the upcoming spring season is going to be like the forecast for the next week or so: warm and dry.

In fact, the outlook over the next three months is that our area's temperatures will be above average:

Meanwhile, they also predict that our area will have below average precipitation:

So there you have it. I'm not saying that you can expect 90 degrees and no rain at all for the next few months, because we all know the weather is constantly changing its mind. But hopefully you should be able to start jogging around the neighborhood sooner rather than later. Summer will be here before we know it!
