Woman Lets Mother-in-Law Catch Her and Husband Naked so She’ll Stop Coming Over Unannounced

A woman on Reddit explained why she let her pesky mother-in-law catch her and her husband naked and in the act together. 

"I have a very nosy mother-in-law who thinks she can walk into my house at any time of day or night. Shortly after we moved into our house, my mother-in-law rented the house next door and started sneaking into our home late in the evening or in the middle of the night to hold our newborn," she began.

"She doesn't knock or ask, and now I have a baby who has her nights and days mixed up. I'm up all hours of the night with the baby whenever my mother-in-law decides to stay home. I get that she thinks she's doing us a favor by 'taking the night shift' with the baby, but she actually wakes the baby up just to hold her," the woman added.

In order to send her intruding mother-in-law a message, the woman and her husband hatched a clever plan.

"One evening, I was sitting on the couch, bemoaning the fact to my husband that his mother needed to learn boundaries. I joked that it would be hilarious if she one day came in unannounced and walked in on us making out—or something even worse. Right then, I heard footsteps outside the house and said, 'Just watch, that's probably her right now.' My hubby said to me, 'Quick, take off your shirt,'" she wrote.

"I complied. He whipped off his own shirt, threw a big blanket around us so that it covered our pants, and wrapped his arms around me in an embrace. When the front door popped open, we both shrieked and pulled the blanket up to cover ourselves. Her face was priceless. It took her a few moments to register what she was seeing, then she whirled around, slammed the door shut behind her, and practically ran down the sidewalk next to our house. Since that day, she always calls first to make sure it's safe to come over," the woman concluded.

"My mom used to do crap like that too until my friend was in the kitchen naked making a cup of tea and he was not kind to her for the intrusion... She doesn't do it anymore," one person wrote.
