Your Child Can Dance at Halftime with the Steamwheelers This Weekend

Does your child love to dance and dream of performing in front of a big crowd? Here’s their chance to shine. The Quad City Steamwheelers are hosting a Kids Dance Camp this Friday, July 12th, 2025, featuring the talented Deckmate Dancers — and the best part? The kids get to perform during halftime at Saturday night’s home game.

Friday Night Fun: Learn from the Deckmates

The camp runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11th, at Vibrant Arena at The MARK. Open to boys and girls ages 4 to 18, this fun, high-energy camp is a chance for kids to learn a choreographed routine directly from the Deckmate Dancers,  the official dance team of the Steamwheelers. No experience is necessary — just bring a smile, some sneakers, and a positive attitude.

Saturday Night Lights: It’s Showtime

After learning their routine on Friday, dancers will take the field Saturday, July 12th, to perform in front of thousands of fans during halftime of the Steamwheelers game. It’s a moment your child will never forget — dancing under the bright arena lights with the crowd cheering them on.

Special Halftime Concert by Loess Hills
