Update On New Whitey’s Ice Cream Location in Bettendorf

Construction is moving along quickly on the new Whitey’s Ice Cream location in Bettendorf. The company recently shared a photo of the site, saying the building “is definitely looking like a Whitey’s Ice Cream store!”

Drive-Thru Coming to Forest Grove and Devil's Glen

The new shop will be located at the corner of Forest Grove Drive and Devils Glen Road, in the Glen Grove development. It will be the second Whitey’s Ice Cream store in Bettendorf and will include a drive-thru — a feature fans have been asking for. The location is also just about a mile from the TBK Sports Complex, making it a convenient stop for families and athletes in the area.

Opening Expected Before the End of the Year

While an official opening date hasn’t been announced, Whitey’s says they’re aiming to welcome customers before the end of the year. “We are very excited to get this project underway and will be sure to keep you updated on the progress and opening date!” the company said in a statement.
