The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that construction work on the Interstate 80 bridge over the Mississippi River will be suspended at 2 p.m. since there's increased traffic on I-80 after the flooding that's causing limited access to the other river crossings.

By now we should be used to construction detours and delays associated with the construction of the new I-74 bridge. The next one is gonna be a little messy.
