I-74 Construction Update

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that construction work on the Interstate 80 bridge over the Mississippi River will be suspended at 2 p.m. since there's increased traffic on I-80 after the flooding that's causing limited access to the other river crossings.

Maybe you're avoiding the I-74 bridge or maybe you’re running late to work and you take a chance this time.

If you use the Interstate 74 bridge to travel into Iowa; pop some Advil because your commute may just give you a headache.

West 2nd Street in Davenport is closed between Gains and Warren. Brown Street is closed at 3rd Street and River Drive.
