Des Moines Law Firm Develops App To Get You Out Of A Ticket

The "Oh, Crap! App" allows access to legal advice to those that have been pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving, even in the middle of the night.

It's even been successfully put to use right here in the Quad Cities. According to WQAD:

The Iowa Court of Appeals rules that the Davenport police violated a man's right to an in-person consultation before forcing him to decide whether to submit to a breath test.

Attorney Bob Rehkemper from the West Des Moines law firm Rehkemper & Lindholm, that created the app, said that this ruling was the first documented case where the app has helped its user avoid conviction.
