Easter Candy: Iowa And Illinois Actually Agree On Their Favorite

Easter Sunday is this Sunday, March 31st. If you plan on hosting an Easter egg hunt or plan on going to one this weekend, you'll probably find this kind of candy the most in the plastic eggs.

A new study found that Iowa and Illinois actually agree on their favorite kind of Easter candy for 2024. They don't agree on their favorite Peeps color, but at least they know which chocolatey, peanut butter candy to put in eggs.

If you're doing some last-minute Easter candy shopping, you might not find this kind of candy on the shelves. The best you can do is find something similar which should be too hard.

America's Favorite Candy

This year, DoorDash decided to conduct a survey to find America's and each state's favorite Easter candy. The study found that Easter candy reigns supreme as the ultimate holiday candy of choice! 31% of Americans say Easter is their favorite holiday candy, followed by Halloween candy (29%) and Christmas candy (24%).

America's top 10 favorite Easter candies include chocolate, marshmallows, jelly beans, and more. These are the top 10.

The Quad Cities Favorite Easter Candy

DoorDash found that only a few states didn't have the number one favorite Easter candy as their favorite. Iowa and Illinois were not among those states.

Both Iowa and Illinois agree Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs Candies are the best and we couldn't agree more.
