Eastern Iowa Minor League Ballpark Named Top 20 Best In The U.S.

We know the best minor ballpark resides in Iowa. The rest of the country, they need to know too. They kind of know, but we need to for sure show just how awesome we have it right here.

Right on the banks of the Mississippi River, and some years in the Mississippi River, Modern Woodmen Park stands proud, Representing America's Pastime and giving it a place to call home, this ballpark also has cold beer, peanuts, crackerjacks, and a ferris wheel. The ferris wheel isn't all either.

Home to the Quad Cities River Bandits, we know right here in the Quad Cities just how special Modern Woodmen Park is. It's time to show America just how special it is and vote it the number 1 minor league ballpark in America.

I'm hoping my inspirational writing about Modern Woodmen Park gives you the push you need to vote for them as the Best Minor League Ballpark in the U.S. by USA Today.

The national newspaper has released its list of the top 20 best ballparks but they'll narrow it down to the top 10, the top 5, and eventually reveal the number 1 minor league ballpark in the U.S. and that could be Modern Woodmen Park.

USA Today said that experts took several things into consideration to create this list, "from atmosphere and amenities to architecture and homages to major league fields or legendary players, and each ballpark is worth visiting in its own right."

To decide which ballpark is the best, you can vote and obviously we want you to vote for Modern Woodmen Park. You can vote once per day until voting ends on Monday, March 11 at 11 a.m. CT. The 10 winners will be revealed on Friday, March 22.
