It's going to get a bit brisk tonight in the Quad Cities. The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities has issued a Frost Advisory that will be mainly in the overnight. If you have planted your garden or have plants outside, get ready to cover them up or move them inside for the night.

The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities has issued a Frost Advisory for tonight for most of the counties in the Quad Cities.

Even though we are in the middle of May, Mother Nature still wants the weather to be a little chillier than we want at night. The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities' forecast for tonight is,

"Areas of frost after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east after midnight."

The Frost Advisory for tonight will begin at 1 a.m. and end at 7 a.m. Areas throughout the Quad Cities will see lows tonight dip into the mid to low 30's. The cool temps and frost could be very damaging to sensitive plants, if not kill them.
