Mrs. Lorenz was nominated by Glenda Allison-Glaser. Glenda said,

My daughter is in 3rd grade at Herbert Hoover Elementary School with her teacher, Mrs. Bump!

She is THE most patient teacher! My kiddo has some weather fears and she has always been the best in helping her through it while at school. She goes above and beyond for each of those kids! She is amazing at communicating with me & my daughter has a fear of thunderstorms that Mrs. Bump is EXTREMELY comforting and keeps my kiddo safe, happy & healthy always!

My daughter loves her so much. It would mean a lot to have her win teacher of the week!

Awesome job Mrs. Bump! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Bump has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100 stocking cap, stickers, a Pepsi, a B100 Bluetooth speaker, and more things, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes

QC Teachers of the Week Powered by Nothing Bundt Cakes Spring 2021

Spring 2021 brought a lot of smiles to teachers throughout the Quad Cities. Even though students, teachers, parents, and staff had a tough year due to the pandemic, we still had a chance to get out and award amazing teachers with a cake and swag for being QC Teacher of the Week.

Essential Winter Emergency Kit Items

Winter season in the Quad Cities means cold temperatures, heavy snow, and slick roads. Hopefully, you won't ever need to tap into your winter emergency kit, but it's better to have one in your car than to be unprepared. Make sure you have these essential items in your car before winter arrives in the Quad Cities.
