According to the Walgreen's Flu Index, the Quad Cities has the 10th highest occurrence of flu cases in the country right now, and it could be worse.

According to the Rock Island County Health Department, only flu cases in Iowa are counted in that total, as Illinois doesn't consider the flu a reportable illness.

Worse still, our area reports the 4th fastest rate of development of the flu, meaning its spreading and fast.

How can you protect yourself? Wash. Your. Hands. Do it well and often, even if you already have the flu to avoid spreading it to others.
