The fighting ring that shook the QCA last spring, have charges filed on the alleged parties.

I will never forget when this happened last year. I couldn't believe how these animals were being treated and it was right here in the Quad Cities. One of the biggest busts, meant local QCA homes were being raided for animals being cruelly fought and raised to fight.

Today, 10 area men were officially charged. According to WQAD.com,

The men are accused of conspiring “to sponsor pit-bull type dogs in fights as well as buying, selling, training, and possessing dogs to participate in such fights,” according to a statement from the Department of Justice. This went on from 2011 through April of 2016.

The charges range from allegedly conspiring to fight the dogs for entertainment and wagered money based on the fight results.
