There's plenty to do in the Quad City area this weekend. Here are some of my suggestions.

1. If you enjoy music, trivia and supporting good causes, The River Music Experience and the Mississippi Valley Blues Society are teaming up to host a trivia contest starting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Redstone Room, 129 N. Main St., Davenport. Cost is $10 per person. Profits from the event will support both organizations.

2. Over 200 agriculture companies will exhibit this weekend at the 27th annual Quad Cities Farm Equipment Show at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave., Rock Island. Show admission and parking are free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. For more information,go to quadcitiesfarmshow.com.

3. Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard Weekend, an annual invitation to explore the Quad-Cities, is today through Monday. The Quad-Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau partners with businesses throughout the area to bring you deals on restaurants, bars, hotels and shops. For more info, visit qcviv.com.

4. Shakespeared! The Establishment, 220 19th Street, Rock Island features improvisers as they present an all-new "lost" play by Shakespeare. Blending classic iambic pentameter and vernacular vulgarity, this show is hilarious, not high brow. You will love it! This show is not for the kids; 17 and older. Rated R material. Admission is $7.

Have fun this weekend!
