As reported on Sunday, security camera footage captured a woman taking packages from a home in Bettendorf's "Huntington Meadows" near Forest Grove and Middle Roads, early Sunday morning.

New video from the same security camera shows the woman returning the packages to the doorstep the same evening of the theft, time stamped at 11:44 p.m. Sunday night.

According to homeowner in the incident, who wishes to have their name withheld, the suspect in the video is Marcia Cervantes of LeClaire. Cervantes was arrested after admitting she stole the items.

The homeowner said all items were returned to the home, except for a few items which were confiscated by police.

Both the homeowner and neighbor Angie Champlin posted the security footage to Facebook. What started out as something small soon became something bigger, the video viewed 120,000 times, with thousands of shares.

Others began to recognize the woman in the video. Some saying they saw her looking through mailboxes that same Sunday morning in their neighborhood, though this has not been confirmed.

In August 2012, Cervantes was arrested on suspicion of theft at the Bettendorf Goodwill. The items recovered were valued at $55.

"This whole situation has been disappointment," the homeowner said.

Police have charged Cervantes with theft 5th degree in the incident.
