If you or someone you know is looking for a job, you'll want to jump on this opportunity.

According to KWQC, the USPS in the QCA is looking for both temporary workers for the holiday season and long-term mail carriers. Temp workers are needed for mail sorting at their distribution center in Milan, IL from November 11-January 5. Hourly pay for the position ranges from $15-$16.62. There are just18 openings, so it's something you'll want to apply for soon.

Long-term workers are also needed on both sides of the river. City carrier assistant and rural carrier associate positions are open, with pay ranging from $16.42-$17.40 for a 360-day appointment. The position also has the potential to be extended further, and there are some benefits included.

I know there are plenty of people that look for extra work during the holiday season and the pay is pretty great (more than twice the minimum wage). Mail carrier positions are also a very coveted spot. Don't hesitate in applying if you think you have the qualifications.

If you're interested in applying for either opening, visit USPS.
