Squash The Munchies: Here's The 4/20 Restaurant Deals In IA & IL

It's 4/20 and if you're planning to indulge in some grass today, there are plenty of restaurants ready to help with the munchies.

USA Today has a full list of restaurants that are offering unique deals or meals as part of 4/20. With a few stipulations, recreational marijuana is legal in Illinois (though driving around with 82 pounds of it isn't). If/when you do end up with the munchies from the weed, luckily for you there are a lot of deals going on for 4/20 around the QCA but here are a few.

Jimmy John's: an online and app-exclusive sandwich (today only) that's called "The Munchie Crusher", which features turkey, provolone and avocado spread, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced pickles, extra oregano-basil and mayo. Use the promo code FREESIDE to get some free chips with any regular or giant-size sandwich.
Red Lobster: Mix-and-match shrimp dishes (available through Sunday) as part of the chain's Ultimate Endless Shrimp for $20 promotion.
Smoothie King: customers can get 420 points when ordering through their app today. New app users can get $2 off of their order.
Cookies and Dreams (Bettendorf): 4/20 cookie box, featuring Phish Food, PB Snickers, and more snacky cookies.
Dunkin' Donuts: It's also National Cold Brew Day so Dunkin' Rewards members can get a free medium cold brew today.

If you do get the munchies today, best of luck to you, and may you find some snacky snacks quickly. And of course, don't drive high. Just hang out at home and Doordash or Uber Eats this stuff if you have to.
