November through February is prime engagement season. Many people decide to pop the question to their significant other during these months, usually at a Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, or Valentine's Day celebration. Whether you just got engaged or are expecting to be soon, it's never too early to plan your engagement photos. Many wedding photographers even include an engagement session for free! These photos will announce your engagement to the world and probably be shared on Facebook a million times - so you want them to be good. To make your future wedding planning a little easier, we narrowed down the top Quad Cities engagement photo locations:

Leach Park has great views of the Mississippi River as well as the I-74 Bridge. A perfect place for a classic QC photo op. Right now you can even get the new bridge construction in the background, which is a cool bit of history to put in photos you'll have on the wall forever!

#4: Centennial Park - Davenport, Iowa

When it's not flooded, Centennial Park has great views of the Centennial Bridge, Mississippi River, and Downtown Davenport. The fountain is a popular backdrop, but there are tons of other options at this location. The SkyBridge's lights provide a cool background during the evening hours, and just across the street the Figge's large outdoor stairs have an edgy "city" look.

#3: Black Hawk State Historic Site - Rock Island, Illinois

By far the most popular spot with engagement photographers, Vanderveer Park has many unique settings. The fountains, sculptures, and long paths lined by trees and flowers make it almost impossible to take a badly composed photo. Even if you go during the cold, snowy months it is beautifully lit up with lights.
