5 Easy, Underrated Dishes To Bring To A Holiday Party
Christmas is almost upon us, which means Christmas parties will probably be happening for at least another week. I even went to one in January once! The thing is, it can be stressful trying to rustle up something to bring at the last minute.
Now, you don't always have to bring something, but you generally look pretty good if you do. So here's a quick list of easy things to bring that'll go over well with just about any holiday get together.
- 1
Eggnog
Realistically, any alcohol would probably be welcomed at a holiday party. The host/hostess almost never has enough. But eggnog specifically is designed for holiday parties! You can find countless recipes online, and whip it up just 15 minutes before leaving for the party!

Desserts
The same rule for alcohol applies for desserts: any and all are welcome. Whether you make cookies from a sacred family recipe, ball up some premade Tollhouse dough, or buy those frosted sugar cookies at the store, no one's going to be mad about it.

Veggies
Look, we're going to be eating a LOT of sweets over this holiday weekend. It's just a fact. And as much as people don't like to admit, they'll be happy to see some veggies up for grabs. They ease the guilt at least a little bit.

Pizza
I know, I know, the holidays are the time for fancy meats and full blown six-course meals. But at the end of the day, pizza is cheaper, faster and just as filling. In fact, my family is having a pizza-themed Christmas (true story!). It's worth popping a few in the oven.

Chips/Pretzels
With as many sweets as there are floating around at a holiday party, some salt is typically given a warm welcome. Grab a couple of bags of chips at the store before you head over and you'll be all set!
