With the crazy winter weather we've been experiencing, potholes have been popping up all over the QCA.

One Davenport neighborhood is dealing with something worse than a pothole, however.

According to WQAD, a large sinkhole has opened on the 600 block of Cedar St. The hole has prompted the city of Davenport to close a section of the road until further notice. Drivers in the neighborhood may want to find an alternate route to avoid a slowdown.

It's unclear from the WQAD story exactly how wide the hole is, but it does look fairly deep.

Cedar St. seems to attract sinkholes- a three feet wide hole opened up at the intersection of Cedar and 6th St. in 2016.
