Wedding in Aisle 2!

Yep, you read that correctly. WQAD reports that the Hy-Vee in Muscatine held a contest for a free wedding and reception, and Isaiah Long and Kayla Peterson won the prize.

The couple got married in Aisle 2 of the store and customers were able to watch the wedding take place.

Ring bearers, flowers, and a wedding party were all part of the special day.

Long says the couple decided to enter the contest since finances are low right now.

As strange as a grocery store wedding may seem, I guess this just goes to show you that it doesn't matter how or where you get married, all that matters is that you have each other.

Still, I can't help but wonder what customers running in for a quick gallon of milk thought when they were suddenly a part of a wedding ceremony. I also wonder if other QC stores will end up holding the same contest. Fingers crossed!
