The torch has been passed again. For the third time in history, a iconic voice has changed.

Change happens all the time. Some for the better, some for the worse. Ladies and gentlemen, Kermit the Frog has a new voice.

Kermit's voice started out as his creator himself, Jim Henson, in 1955 until his death in 1990. Steve Whitmire took over as the voice of the iconic Muppet leader until he was fired earlier this year over long-term creative disagreements over Kermit's characterization and prolonged labor union negotiations that delayed his involvement in Muppet-related productions.

According to USAToday, Kermit's new voice will be by puppeteer Matt Vogel. Pretty spot on. Get more here. Do you think they all get tired of being asked if there's a frog in their throats?
