A QC Restaurant is Offering Free Food to Those in Need
We're all trying to do our part to help out during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
One local restaurant is going above and beyond to help feed the community during this difficult time.
Local News 4 reports that Los Agaves, a Mexican restaurant with four QC locations, is offering free meals every day for those in need.
Those who are interested can pick up a free taco with a side of rice and beans between 2-4 pm.
“We are going through a difficult time and there are some people who cannot afford a meal for themselves, so we are doing this to help the community and to give the best in us,” said Sara Montes, Los Agaves assistant manager.
The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 am-8:30 pm for curbside pickup and carryout. Iowa and Illinois recently changed their liquor laws to allow for alcohol to be picked up or delivered, so the restaurant is also selling beer, wine, and margaritas to go.
