‘A Star Is Born’ Is Headed Back To Theaters This Weekend – With Extra Footage
We're not too far from the Shallow now.
If you've been a human existing in the world in the last few weeks, odds are you've heard about A Star Is Born. Even if you haven't seen the movie, you've heard the hit song "Shallow," right here on B100.
Fans seemed to fall in love with it immediately, and so did critics. It earned Lady Gaga an Oscar win for Best Song at the awards this past weekend! So, to celebrate, we're getting even more.
It was announced today that A Star Is Born will be back in theaters for one week only, with some extra footage! To be exact, there's 12 minutes of extra footage in this one. According to Deadline:
The special edition of the film contains extended performances of such songs as opener “Black Eyes”; “Alibi”; and Lady Gaga’s Ally in her impromptu a cappella performance of “Shallow,” which won the Oscar for Best Original Song last Sunday.
There is also fresh footage of Ally singing to Jack “Is That Alright?” in the wedding sequence; Jack in his studio singing “Too Far Gone”; Jack and Ally writing a new song together, entitled “Clover”.
According to their websjte, Cinemark in Davenport will be one of the theaters offering the encore performance!
