American Idol Changes Course, Adds Chicago Audition Stop

If you thought you might be the next American Idol but a drive to Springfield was not in the cards, you are in luck.

American Idol announced audition dates last month but surprisingly left Chicago off the calendar.

Not sure if it was public outcry or producers realizing asking Chicago and Quad City residents to drive to Springfield is a big ask, but something definitely changed.

So American Idol at the last minute added a Chicago date for those interested in auditioning for the upcoming season.

Get your vocal cords ready, the Chicago American Idol audition date is Saturday, September 21. The exact location of the auditions has yet to be announced.
