Andi’s Weekend At Ace Comic Con Midwest

The arrival of Fall brings a lot of things. Hot drinks, cozy sweaters, and fun decorations. Unfortunately, it also brings the final leg of comic con season. (It's a real season, don't @ me). So, this past weekend, we helped it go out in style at Ace Comic Con Midwest.

It was only their second year in Chicago, but they know how to do it RIGHT. Among the guests were Gwendoline Christie, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tessa Thompson, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson and – my obvious personal favorite – Tom Holland.

Somehow – and seriously, don't ask me how because I'll never know – I managed to keep my cool while meeting all of these literal superheroes.

But the truth is, comic con isn't just about seeing celebrities. It's about the people you meet. At comic con, everyone's there for the same reason: love. They love these characters and their stories. I'm SO glad I got to catch up with a few B100 listeners that won tickets to the show!

On top of it all, it's also about the toys you can buy! You can find Thor's hammer, or Captain America's shield, or even Darth Vader's lightsaber. And believe me, I played with them all.
