Back From The Dead Returns To Downtown Rock Island

A spooky celebration is returning to downtown Rock Island!

Back for another year, the Rock Island Downtown Alliance is bringing back Back From The Dead in downtown Rock Island on October 24th.

It's for all ages to enjoy another weekend of Halloween festivities before the big day.

And yes, the free trolley will be back to help get you from event to event from 1:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.!

The New Monster Mission

New this year, Back From The Dead will feature a 'Monster Mission', which requires you to send pics of you completing at least 5 of these challenges:

Browsing/shopping at a participating store
Doing a game/hands-on activity
Getting food or drinks
Riding the trolley
Going to a movie or live show
A pic with the Back From The Dead background
Wear a costume

You can win prizes by doing the Monster Mission, including prizes from Skellington Manor Event Center.

The event HQ will be on the Green Lawn near the Rock Island Letters. That's where you'll be able to get info about activities and stuff that's going on. Here's a map of this year's event and the businesses participating:

All day on October 24th, you'll find Halloween-themed events, live music, movies, shopping specials, and Halloween attractions. The Halloween festivities shift to scarier ones (that might be too much for the littles) at night.
