Say It 3 Times: “Beetlejuice The Musical” Coming To Downtown Davenport
It's a classic we all watch around Halloween.
Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. You know how it works.
We're going to have an early celebration this year because "Beetlejuice: The Musical" is coming to the Adler Theatre in downtown Davenport.
The "juice is loose" in the QC in less than a month. The shows will be April 28th-April 30th.
You know the story at least slightly from hearing about it. It's oviously based on Tim Burton's classic movie. Teen Lydia Deetz, whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a penchant for stripes and something with the number 3, has a few interesting moments in a haunted house, including an infamous one in the movie set to "Jump In The Line".
The musical comedy version of the story got it's start on Broadway to rave reviews, like Entertainment Weekly calling it "a feast for the eyes and for the soul."
The shows will be at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
At the subscriber show on April 28th, there will be a pre-show dinner from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (the menu of which looks surprisingly normal) and the buffet is $32.
Tickets for the show start at $48. The show is recommended for ages 13+ and parental discretion is advised. Of course, we're not right at Halloween season but does it have to be for this?
You can find links to get tickets to every day of the show at the Adler's website. Keep up with all of the upcoming events at the Adler on their Calendar of Events page.
