You know a place is probably good to work at if the employees can vouch for it.
No one wants to work somewhere toxic. That's why Forbes has released their list of the Best Employers By State for 2024.
To come up with this list, they teamed up with market research firm Statista and surveyed over 160,000 workers in companies that have at least 500 employees.
Those who were surveyed were asked "how likely they were to recommend their employer on a scale of zero to 10".

12. Culver Franchising System
Of course the epicenter of Butterburgers that's based in Wisconsin would make this list.
11. Advocate Aurora Health
The company has locations in North Illinois and the Chicagoland area in addition to Wisconsin.
10. UnitedHealth Group
They were also named one of the best employers in Iowa for 2024 too.
9. Emplify Health
Forbes doesn't mention the total number of employees at Emplify Health but it is a brand new company, founded just this year.
8. Mayo Clinic
Mayo Clinic has dozens of clinics, hospitals, and medical facilities in Wisconsin.
7. Kimberly-Clark
Kimberly-Clark, who makes Kleenex, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers, has a north American business office/manufacturing plant in Neenah.

Bank of America also has two financial centers getting ready to open in Madison and Milwaukee in 2026.

The workers that Forbes and Statista surveyed for this were also asked to rank other employers that they had worked for within the past two years. They also sounded off on organizations that they were familiar with either through their employer (in their industry) or that they knew through a family member that worked for them.
