She was nominated by Erica Cason, the mom of a student. Erica's child had such sweet things to say about Kathryn:

My favorite teacher is Kathryn Hawley and she teaches at Herbert Hoover Elementary School in Bettendorf. She is so kind and she makes everyone feel so safe and kind. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. I can tell her anything and she makes me feel like it IS okay to make mistakes. Mrs. Hawley definitely deserves this title.

Awesome job, Mrs. Hawley!

For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Hawley has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, koozies, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a cup and gift card from Scooter's Coffee!

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Hawley!

Quad Cities Pumpkin Patches

It's pumpkin pickin' time in the Quad Cities. Pumpkins make great fall decorations and they are obviously fun to carve. If buying a pumpkin at a store doesn't cut it and you want the full experience of a pumpkin patch, we have the full list of pumpkin patches throughout the Quad Cities. If we are missing any local pumpkin patches, email us here.
