Spotting a bear roaming around in Eastern Iowa is super rare, but that exact scenario happened for one man this past weekend.

According to KCCI Des Moines, Zach Anderson was hunting near Decorah when he spotted the animal.

Bears are not managed by the IDNR, and typically, a bear will not be bothered by the DNR unless they're disrupting other wildlife.
