A body was pulled from the Mississippi River in Buffalo, Iowa this morning around 9:20 a.m.

According to Scott County Sheriff's Department, a caller reported the body Friday morning with Buffalo Police Department and Buffalo Fire Department responding to the scene, including assistance from the Scott County Sheriff's Department.

The body was described as a white male about 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighed about 170 pounds.
