Oh Goose. He’s so cute. He’s so cuddly. Samuel L. Jackson wants to nuzzle him forever. But if you’ve seen Captain Marvel, you know there is more to Goose than meets the eye. If you aren’t familiar with the Marvel Comics, though, you might not catch exactly what Goose’s deal is, or how he does the stuff we see him do in the movie.

The video above, by ScreenCrush’s Ryan Arey, will help you out with all of that. It reveals the origins of Goose in the pages of Captain Marvel (where he looks almost identical but has a different name — Chewie!), how exactly he does what he does, and lets you know some of the other cool things Chewie has done in comics, which could be clues about potential sequel storylines for Captain Marvel 2.
