The biggest city in Illinois landed in the top 10 best cities to get married in 2024. This city has a ton of things to do for your guests, an endless list of venues and vendors, and it's less than three hours from the Quad Cities.

That city is Chicago, of course. But why is Chicago such a great place to get married? Besides all of the reasons I listed above, the price to get hitched isn't as bad as a lot of the other places on this list.

If wedding bells are in your future this year or in the next couple of years, you might want to consider getting married in one of 2024's best places to get married in the U.S. The latest study from WalletHub shows that Chicago is in the top 10 best cities.

To be exact, Chicago ranked as the 9th best city to get married in this year. But why Chicago? For us here in the Quad Cities, it's less than 2 hours away and it's the third-largest city in the U.S.

Chicago ranked on WalletHub's newest list as having the 7th most activities and attractions, and 23rd for the most facilities and services. Surprisingly, the Windy City ranked 77th for costs out of 181 other cities. The higher the number, the cheaper, by the way.

Iowa Has Two Great Cities To Get Married In

Sorry, Davenport, you didn't make the top cities for WalletHub. I will say though, there are a ton of awesome wedding vendors, venues, and services here in the Quad Cities to have the perfect wedding.

The two cities in Iowa that made it onto this list both landed in the top 100. Cedar Rapids was named the 93rd best city and Des Moines landed at 87th.
