Child Critically Injured After Falling Off Cliff at QC Park

It's every parent's nightmare.

Imagine playing outside with your child at a park when, suddenly, the worst happens.

That's the scenario that took place for one family on Monday at Wildcat State Park in Muscatine.

According to the Quad City Times, a child between the age of 8 and 10 was critically injured after falling off a rock cliff at the park. The fall was reportedly around 20-25 feet.

The child suffered a severe head injury and was unresponsive. A Med Force helicopter transported them to an area hospital. No additional information is known regarding the child's condition.
