Yesterday at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds over 2000 people sampled dozens of different types of chili to raise money for Hand In Hand of the Quad Cities. Area special needs students benefit from the programs at Hand In Hand. You can find out more about the programs and Hand In Hand here.

There were several unique recipes ranging from mild to hot and with ingredients from meat and kidney beans to corn and pineapple. Kamdyn seemed to like almost every one we tried and didn't even want to eat dinner later. Nor did I. Even though the sample cups were small by the time you eat 20 of them, you're bound to be full.
