Get ready Quad Cities, because the ultimate hip-hop party is coming to our area this February. On Wednesday, The Rust Belt in East Moline announced they are excited to welcome Chingy and Too Hype Crew to The Rust Belt in East Moline on Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

Chingy, who is known for his Billboard Hot 100 hits "Right Thurr," “Holidae In,” “One Call Away” and many more, is also an actor and philanthropist. Chingy achieved rapid mainstream success with the release of his double-Platinum debut album, Jackpot. He knocked himself out of the #1 position with his second platinum album Powerballin', featuring Hot 100 hit "Balla Baby" as well as a collaboration with Janet Jackson on "Don't Worry."

Joining Chingy on Saturday, February 12th at The Rust Belt is Too Hype Crew. Too Hype Crew is a full-blown old-school hip-hop experience like nothing else you’ve ever seen. A tasteful tribute to the fun hip hop and party anthems of the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s, featuring an all-live six-piece band, MC’s, and “Fly Girl” dancers.

Chingy was scheduled to come to The Rust Belt with Ginuwine and Juvenile for the Back That Up Tour the second time it was postponed in the Quad Cities to October 16th. The Back That Up Tour was rescheduled a third time to April 2nd, 2022, due to a scheduling conflict with Ginuwine. Ultimately, that tour stop was canceled in early November due to scheduling conflicts among the performers.

Luckily, Chingy & Too Hype Crew will be in the Quad Cities on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased, Right Hurr.
